We will be happy to answer all your questions.

What is the difference between a normal pregnancy and a surrogate one?

Pregnancy of a surrogate mother physiologically proceeds in the same way as in most pregnant women, whose pregnancy occurred after the embryo transfer following IVF.

How does a surrogate mother’s embryo transfer take place?

The procedure for transferring an embryo of a surrogate mother is completely identical to a similar transfer procedure within IVF for any other woman. Embryo transfer in a cryoprotocol is carried out on the 18-21st day of the menstrual cycle, takes place within the walls of a medical institution under the supervision of an embryologist and reproductologist. The procedure lasts 20 minutes and is absolutely painless.

Where does the surrogate mother live?

Our Center considers it mandatory that surrogate mothers live in Bishkek from the moment of transfer until delivery. All residential premises from the Center are fully equipped for living – they have bed linen, all necessary household appliances, wireless Internet.

Can a surrogate mother see relatives during pregnancy?

We offer our surrogate mothers accommodation with one of their children. Accommodation in an apartment for surrogate mothers of other relatives is excluded, as this may create an unfavorable atmosphere for other Surrogate mothers.

Can biological parents demand certain conditions from a surrogate mother?

All the conditions that a surrogate mother must comply with are established in a notary agreement. The notary necessarily checks the compliance of the conditions with the norms of the law, the absence of violations both from a legal and moral point of view. In this regard, specific conditions at the request of biological parents will require confirmation of the possibility of their inclusion by a notary

At whose expense does the surrogate mother eat and purchase the necessary medications?

Each surrogate mother is entitled to a monthly payment for improved nutrition, and the necessary medicines are bought and provided by our Center.

Are sexual contacts allowed during the pregnancy of a surrogate mother?

After the surrogate mother passes all the tests necessary for entering the program, sexual contacts must be excluded, since there is a risk of sexual transmission of infections and gynecological diseases, and this may threaten the pregnancy and the health of the child. Also, uterine contractions during intercourse can cause miscarriage. In order to endure and give birth to a healthy baby, you need to think about the possible consequences of sexual contacts, which jeopardize the entire Program as a whole, all the efforts spent on the birth of a new life. The surrogate mother is responsible for non-compliance with this medical rule.

Can genetic parents refuse a child born by a surrogate mother?

In the Kyrgyz Republic, genetic parents are immediately recognized as the parents of the child. Any abandonment of a child has corresponding negative consequences for the parents.
