Sometimes, in order to become a mother, a woman is not enough to undergo conservative treatment. Problems with the quality of oocytes (eggs) are by no means uncommon. The lack of oocytes (eggs) suitable for fertilization in women is a common problem of modern women and the reason for this is not only older reproductive age, but also: hereditary diseases, various pathologies, genetic diseases and stress. In such cases, IVF programs with donor oocytes come to the rescue. The donor oocyte can be used both for embryo cultivation for transfer to the woman herself, and for the transfer of a surrogate mother
What is VRT?
Sometimes, in order to become a mother, a woman is not enough to undergo conservative treatment. Egg health problems are by no means uncommon. The lack of oocytes (eggs) suitable for fertilization in women is a common problem of modern women and the reason for this is not only menopause, but also hereditary diseases, and various pathologies, and genetic diseases, and stress, and pathologies of the reproductive organs. Then ART comes to the rescue – assisted reproductive technologies, including the conception of pregnancy with the help of healthy donor eggs. Donor oocyte can be used both for infertility treatment by IVF and for Surrogacy programs.
Our center is interested in the selection of oocyte donors.
Information about the identity of an anonymous donor is confidential, at the same time, the donor does not receive information about the patients for whom the oocytes are intended. After selecting a specific donor, the latter undergoes a complete medical and genetic examination, during which it becomes clear whether she meets all the necessary requirements for an egg donor. The donor signs an informed consent stating that his oocytes and the embryos derived from them will be the property of the patients.

02
Stage 2
Passage of medical examinations
03
Stage 3
The donor additionally undergoes ovulation stimulation (to increase the number of oocytes) with the help of drugs. If there are grounds for a fresh transfer, the doctor simultaneously prepares the recipient’s endometrium with estradiol and progesterone preparations for future embryo transfer
04
Stage 4
The final stage: by means of a puncture, oocytes are extracted from the donor, which are fertilized with the prepared sperm of the parent in the laboratory. At this stage, the participation of the donor ends.
05
Stage 5
The resulting embryo is cryopreserved for subsequent transfer to a woman who wants to become a mother or a surrogate mother (the remaining embryos are frozen).
We will be happy to answer all your questions.
Who and how can become a donor?
A woman aged 20-35 who wants to help infertile couples by participating in an egg donation program. The donor must be of normal build (not overweight), not smoke, not suffer from gynecological and other diseases. The donor undergoes a complete examination for the presence of such diseases as HIV, syphilis, hepatitis B and C, gonorrhea, chlamydia, mycoplasmosis, ureaplasmosis, cytomegalovirus, genital herpes.
What should be the interval between donation cycles?
Theoretically, oocytes can be donated every menstrual cycle (every month), but we take at least a two-month break between donation cycles to allow the donor’s ovaries to rest.
Will I go into menopause prematurely after donating my oocytes?
A 12-year-old girl has about 300,000 eggs in her ovaries. During the period of reproductive age, less than 500 of them are consumed by the ovaries in the process of ovulation. The remaining 299,500 eggs undergo what is known as “atresia”, in which they are resorbed in the ovaries between puberty and menopause. Due to the presence of a large number of these “reserve” eggs, there is no reason to believe that taking medication during the donor process, or egg donation itself, can reduce the egg supply to the extent of leading to early menopause.
How is my anonymity respected?
All information about donor programs is strictly confidential. The couple receiving your eggs will sign a statement stating that they undertake not to identify the egg donor and understand that they, or their children, will no longer be associated with you. They won’t know your name. But they will be given general information regarding your physiological parameters: weight, height, phenotype, appearance, hereditary and genetic diseases (if any).
